PowerBI
Use PowerBI with Rasgo
Rasgo's PowerBI and Excel integrations require you to first set up an ODBC connection from your environment to your data warehouse. We recommend naming this connection
RasgoSnowflake
when you create it.Snowflake ODBC
BigQuery ODBC
Follow the instructions at this link to set up your ODBC connection on Windows: https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/odbc-windows.html
These instructions will help you set up your ODBC connection: https://cloud.google.com/community/tutorials/bigquery-from-excel
Once your ODBC connection is in place, you can use the Access Data button on any dataset page to access the PowerBI connection file.
- 1.Find the Dataset you want to use in PowerBI
- 2.Click Access Data
- 3.Click PowerBI, which will download a PowerBI Data Source file
- 4.Open the PowerBI file and you will be automatically connected to the Dataset's data

Access Data Modal
The PowerBI integration creates a connection from your local computer directly to your data warehouse.
